The following links are to sites and organisations that I have found useful or important with regard to development related issues.

Ethical Events (based in London) run events and courses for those working in or interested in development issues. Their website isn't up to much but the two week part time course was excellent, and led to my doing a Masters in Development Studies at Birkbeck. They hold a number of annual events with excellent panels of speakers.

Tzedek applies the Jewish principle of Tikkun Olam - improving the world - to ending world poverty through sustainable development. It raises funds for overseas projects and also seeks to raise awareness within the Jewish Community of global poverty issues. I am currently serving on Tzedek's Overseas Projects Group.

The Aegis Trust seeks to learn lessons from past genocides such as the Nazi Holocaust and Rwanda with a view to mobilising popular and political opposition to current and future genocides. Recently, it has been particularly active with respect to the crisis in Darfur.
