We are a small scale Third World charity operating in Southern India and East Africa.

We are registered in the UK and our charity registration number is 1066845. You can look us up on the Charity Commission web site.

What we do is very simple. Most weeks, we carry out door to door collections, and together with a few larger donations, this raises a few thousand pounds a year. That's not much in UK terms, but our expenses are negligible, and money goes much further in the developing world, where prices and expectations are a fraction of what they are here.

We work with a number of small, grassroots charities who send us specific funding proposals, typically in the region of £1,000. The organisations then provide us with regular feedback on how the project in question is going.

On my travels, I have been privileged to spent time with a number of charities that make real differences to peoples lives on what are often miniscule budgets. Nearly all the organisations we support are ones I have personally visited.
